True Nutella fans will eat their beloved chocolate hazelnut spread on pretty much anything: toast and crêpes are the merest beginning. And soon, Nutella lovers will be able to notch a new way of enjoying their favorite spread: not just as an ice cream topping, but as ice cream itself.

Ice cream giant Wells Enterprises says it will introduce Nutella Ice Cream — along with a Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert — next week at the NACS convenience store trade show in Chicago.

Isabella Chia, chief marketing officer at Wells Enterprises, which produces Blue Bunny and Halo Top ice creams among other frozen treats, says the new products channel the “global love of Nutella and Kinder Bueno” into new desserts that will “delight consumers.”

What does Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert taste like?

Nutella Ice Cream promises to deliver the “unmistakable taste of Nutella with swirls of Nutella in every bite,” according to a press release. Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert, meanwhile, is described as a “creamy hazelnut flavored frozen dessert with a delightful combination of tastes and crispy textures” that evokes its namesake chocolate bar.

When can you get Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert?

Both new frozen products will be available in 14-ounce tubs and 3.04-ounce single-serve cones and will begin shipping to convenience stores on December 1. They will then roll out to a broader set of retailers in the spring of 2026.

And it sounds like Wells may soon bring more ice cream candy bars our way: ”Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert are just the beginning of a pipeline of bold new concepts designed to keep convenience-store and grocery freezers exciting…” Chia says in a statement. Whatever those are, count us in.
